ACCIDENTAL CAPTURE

 Accidental capture in traps is a significant threat to wintering golden eagles throughout eastern Canada and the United States. Our partners in Quebec have documented this issue (see paper here), and developed an excellent brochure (below) detailing methods for avoiding accidental capture of eagles while trapping fur-bearers.
